In a yurt on the snow-covered fields of the North, Nanook and Sedna live following the traditions of their ancestors. Alone in the wilderness, they look like the last people on Earth. Nanook and Sedna’s traditional way of life starts changing – slowly, but inevitably. Hunting becomes more and more difficult, the animals around them die from inexplicable deaths and the ice has been melting earlier every year. Chena, who visits them regularly, is their only connection to the outside world – and to their daughter Ága, who has left the icy tundra a long time ago due to family feud. When Sedna’s health deteriorates, Nanook decides to fulfill her wish. He embarks on a long journey in order to find Ága. This deeply meaningful multiple awards winning movie is one of our most treasured film projects, and contributing to the beauty of this authentic world with our VFX work was a pleasure.

When Aaron, an ex-fighter, turns to music after years of being knocked around and left with permanent mental disabilities, falls for Jana, an off-centered Bulgarian immigrant living in New York. While he recognizes that she is as crazy as him, Jana does not share the same opinion. But her brother, Bobby, an upcoming wannabe fighter, decides to convince her she is that crazy, in order to get Aaron in the ring against him. Bubu Studio stepped in the ring with the film’s post-production: editing, color grading – the whole drill.

It starts seismic activity at the Californian fault line where her daughter and ex are monitoring it. Can they stop it? BUBU STUDIO participated in with making explosions, demolitions, modelling, lighting, rendering, and dynamics.

It needs one voice and one light to lead it back to the warmth, tranquility and brightness of the right path. In these desperate times the Church has a choice – will it cling to old prejudice, opinions and even hatred or shall it rise to the challenge and be that one voice and one light that we all crave for immensely. Remember your roots, recollect your history, face the schism and its ugly results all around us today and heed the voice of those who strive to make the right choice. Bubu Studio is responsible for the production and post-production of this documentary, and we are happy for being a part of this important social project.

Unwanted by her mother, Viktoria is being born with no umbilical cord and doesn’t need Boryana until the hardships of life bind them together. Bubu Studio created many vfx miracles for this film, but mainly the focal point of the story – the missing umbilical cord.

Group of friends meet again, 13 years after their prom because of a problem of one of them, and face the opportunity to experience the things in life they have always put aside so far. We had real fun playing with the color grading and VFX of this film.

A Frenchman falls in love with a hot temper Bulgarian village girl. Following the call of his heart he starts looking for the village where she lives without knowing the character and the language of the people living there. Bubu Studio added some color to this colorful story, and the magic happened.
